SEA EAGLES MEETING @5pm followed @6pm by special guest speaker Nick Polsen who returns to the Aero Club for an emerging pilot group mentoring session. The session will be best suited to those who are looking at pathways to employment as they approach the final stages of aviation training. Nick will be joined by Danny Melville another Qantas B737 FO. ZOOM DETAILS for those unable to attend in person.

Introduction from Daniel Beasley, Jetstar Cabin Crew, and Emergency Procedures Instructor:
Daniel discussed his career in aviation, career paths into aviation and offered assistance with resume and cover letter writing.
Simulator – the quote is complete, discussed presentation to Board of Directors, 10th March
David gave a report on the progress of the simulator quote and funding.

Work Experience – what would be a desirable program for high school work experience?
General discussion of work experience options
Action: Daniel to investigate work experience options from Jetstar end. David, Teresa and Naomi to investigate the possibility of a composite work experience program involving multiple operators/employers at the airport

What better way to celebrate the Aero Club Student achievements than with a club BBQ. With special guest speaker Andrew O’Meally
Andrew is currently a Qantas FO on the A380 after flying BA146, B737, B767, and B747 aircraft. Andrew also spent a number of years prior to Qantas in GA and flying charter ops in Papua New Guinea.
We are looking forward to hearing more about Andrews’s journey.
