Simulator – the quote is complete, discussed presentation to Board of Directors, 10th March David gave a report on the progress of the simulator quote and funding. Careers and Pathways event Tuesday 8th March, 3 pm – brief on final plans: Update on new displays; McDermotts, SLSQ drone attending, Flight Options TIF donated Work Experience – what would be a desirable program for high school work experience? General discussion of work experience options Action: Daniel to investigate work experience options from Jetstar end. CLUB BBQ at 2pm What better way to celebrate the Aero Club Student achievements than with a club BBQ. With special guest speaker Andrew O’Meally Andrew is currently a Qantas FO on the A380 after flying BA146, B737, B767, and B747 aircraft. Andrew also spent a number of years prior to Qantas in GA and flying charter ops in Papua New Guinea. We are looking forward to hearing more about Andrews’s journey.
