Congratulations:
Well done to Nicole McKenzie this week who successfully completed her FIRST SOLO!. Nicole started with us in February this year and has shown great determination. She has been a weekly student when possible and has stayed focused and motivated. Looking forward to watching your continued progress, Nicole. Burpengarry High School Visit.
A thank you to the ARFFS team here at the Airport, AIR SERVICES, Jake Cosmai from Sunshine Coast Airport, Adrian Bannister, and his team airside for the wonderful experience given to the 19x Year 10 students and 2x year 12 students ( and teachers) studying Aviation/Aerospace at Burpengarry High School this week. Not to forget our very own Naomi, Nathan, and Josh who collectively gave some great insight into airport operations, job opportunities, and aviation in general. Students were shown the Flight Simulator, took a seat in the Sling and finished off the day with some tower visits.
