With Teresa away this week the boys were left to look after the place and we are pleased to report we didn’t burn the clubhouse to the ground in her absence. Just! Thankfully Teresa is back on Monday. There are heaps of whales frolicking about between Pt Arkwright and Noosa heads, and also off the coast of Bribie Island, so why not book one of the Slings and go and enjoy some very special whale watching? If it’s been a while contact the club and get current with one of our instructors and check them out, a truly majestic experience! FUEL PUMP Sadly the fuel pump is again out of service, Brad from Apro Electrix was able to get it working last week however the motor has since failed and a new one is on order which should arrive next week. Fuel will be available in the interim, check with Quentin or Josh for filling instructions. Thanks again to Brad for assistance diagnosing the fault. Special Thanks A very special thanks to JJ Guy who volunteered his time and tech expertise to assist with our new Circuit briefing which will be going into immediate service. All our briefs are getting a makeover in the coming weeks and JJ’s input has made that process a whole lot easier. Thanks! Special thanks also to Craig Byron. Sadly weather prevented us flying on Thursday but it hasn’t stopped our fledgling Welcome Sparrows, who are out of the nest, from stretching their wings. Unfortunately, that means their guano has also relocated and they had a pretty good crack at spray painting the wings on 8667. Craig volunteered his time to give 8667 a wash and she’s nice and shiny again! AIRCRAFT AUSTRALIA and TNM We are taking expressions of interest from club members who would like to hire C172SP Skyhawk, TNM.
