Aircraft Australia are happy to say they can now go ahead with taking rental requests for their C172 (VH-CMZ) at the Sunshine Coast. Those who have registered should all now be in their flight logger system with your email address. You can access the system here https://aircraft-au.flightlogger.net/. Prior to your first rental. You will need to do a check flight as part of their insurance requirements. This check flight is usually no more than 1 hour but it will depend on your experience and whether you’ve flown a 172 before.
Please send Mark from Aircraft Australia an email with when you would like to do the check flight and then you should be all good to take the aircraft when it’s free. The aircraft will be here from Friday afternoon so any time after that should work. If you have any issues getting into flight logger, just let Mark know and he will do his best to assist you.

Lastly, if you could also make sure all your documents are uploaded on flight logger, that would be appreciated. Prior to you taking the aircraft, you will need to upload all 20 pages of your licence, ASIC, all pages of your medical, and your Single Engine Airplane flight review which should be on your licence.
One other thing to mention is that CMZ is VFR Only and it’s a C172M model. They should have their IFR C172SP TNM at the Sunshine Coast very soon once they receive their VIVA Fuel cards as it only takes AVGAS compared to CMZ which uses MOGAS. Mark will keep you all updated when he has more details on that, but TNM is always available for you to hire from Redcliffe if that is preferred.
