COMPUSORY SAFETY MEETING

Thursday 13th APRIL 2023 at 6pm.

It is a requirement that all flying members either attend in person or via Zoom or similar. (to be advised) Alternative arrangements will need to be made with Quentin prior to you next flight if you are unable to attend on the day.

Aircraft update

Sling 1132 has now returned from its 100hrly check, all is good to go. We have been advised the part for Sling 8667 has arrived in the country, Hopefully not too long now before its back here at the club.

Work Experience

Another big week at the Aero Club hosting our very own student pilots Lachy, Sawyer and Brayson from St Johns College in Nambour for a week of work experience.

Again I would like to thank the Queensland Air Museum in Caloundra, SCA Safety officers Scotty and Rodney, the team at AFT , Our friends from Air Services up in the tower and on the ground at the ARFF fire station for another amazing week of experiences for our students.

The guys will be cooking up a sausage sizzle tomorrow, ready for 12pm as a thank you to all who have played a part in our work experience programme.

Sausages are also available to purchase for $2.50.if you are passing by and feel like a snag!

Last weeks students also had a tour of Mach Jet and Bonza., which you may have seen on our Social media posts.

Easter is coming!🐰

With Easter around the corner (next week!) please note the office will be closed on the public holidays. Flying lessons may still take place by appointment.

If you haven’t heard by now, Jag the Joker on a Friday is proving to be quite a night. Tomorrow nights Jackpot is now at $1300.00. Come and see what the commotion is all about. Its a great way to meet new members and catch up with those you haven’t seen for a while. Bar prices remain at a level you don’t often see these days and there are plenty of alcoholic and non alcoholic options available.
